The Shop and home are situated on 4 acres right on State Hwy. 23 outside of Askov, MN. Conveniently located half way between Duluth and the Twin Cities.
With only 1.5 miles of I-35 - the freeway creates an enormous customer base, drawing return customers from Duluth to the Twin Cities.
The business was started in 1994 with a tax return. It was initially run out of a 1980 sq ft building.
The business quickly grew and we needed to add on. In summer 1999 we added on 4800 sq ft - making it a 6780 sq ft building.
We have since added a 12x28 ft. parts room, added a 28x30 ft state of the art down draft paint booth with a mix room. We also completely remodeled the original shop to include 2 offices, break room, waiting room and a bathroom. This brought us up to a 7800 sq ft facility.
In 2005 we paved the driveway and the customer parking area.
We've done extensive landscaping outside to cerate an inviting and attractive entry way with flower boxes on both sides of the main office door. We also added an outside waiting area with two concrete picnic tables for those summer days when a customer would rather wait outside.
